A friend who is a nurse, seeing my discomfort, and hearing that I had received little or no help from my doctor, suggested I visit a Chinese herbalist and look for natural herbal remedies for the external hemorroidal skin tags.
I went along and explained my predicament to an ancient-looking Chinese lady whose English was limited, to say the least. After much toing and froing and sign language she eventually twigged that the problem was one to do with an external hemorrhoid, and she summoned a young assistant, who could speak English, and was able to interpret to me what their joint diagnosis was.

My job often took me on the road and this meant fast food and everyone knows how healthy that is-not!. I loved curry- my work colleague was Indian!-, as well as fried rice, fried eggs, fried bacon...so my poor body was getting worn out by all this rubbish food and the stresses inherent in my work.
So there were definitely some INTERNAL changes which needed to be made before I saw any EXTERNAL, visible changes to my health. I think there's something in the Bible about that as well. A lot of so-called remedies and "cures" for these kind of conditions ignore this, but I notice that diet and diet solutions-even for people who want to sculpt their bodies and lose arm fat and fat from other parts,and don't necessarily have a health condition-is receiving widespread advertising these days. What I ate and work stress-and my reaction to stress- were just as much problems as the initial coughing fit or whatever caused the hemorrhoids at the outset! I realized that sorting out the external hemroid problem was going to take time and effort.
The Chinese doctor mentioned the liver and kidneys as important areas to concentrate on , and showed me that by following a natural detoxification program my body I could improve my chances of reducing and eliminating the hemorroids. So by taking the Chinese herbal remedies I began my journey of freedom from hemorroids. I can still hear the ancient Chinese lady's strictures : "NO FIZZEE! NO SPICEE!!"
Yes, sad to say, fizzy juices,fizzy drinks,potato crisps,nachos and Mexican or curried,spicy foods can definitely irritate hemorrhoids....
The first thing , them, that I had to change was my diet. I took some noxious-tasting Chinese herbs for a few weeks , and using part of the same concoction, would bathe the affected end in a small tub of warm water, rather like a sitz bath, which is often recommended for hemorroid conditions. One of the products I used which was very good at helping with bleeding hemorrhoids or swelling was FARGELIN. This is a great product but note that it should not be taken if you are pregnant or spleen deficient.
